Dr. Yakhmi is truly a pediatric and adult allergist/immunologist. She is ideally trained to take care of patients of all ages. She is comfortable seeing patients from infancy through all of adulthood. While most allergists either complete a residency in Internal Medicine (adult medicine) or Pediatrics, she completed a combined residency with equal training in both. And while many Allergy/Immunology fellowships concentrate on adult or pediatric patients, she received equal experience in both areas.

She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and Indiana Allergy & Immunology Society. While an independent physician, she is on the medical staff at Riverview Hospital, Franciscan Health, Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo and Carmel, IU Health, and Community Health Network.

Dr. Yakhmi grew up on the northeast side of Indianapolis and is thrilled to be practicing in the area. When not taking care of patients, she is usually spending time with her family. She also loves reading, writing, and swimming.
